Notes: Petersen is one of the best shooters in the class of 2008, hands down. Great form and gets good lift on his jumpshot every time. Decent ball handler and not as good off the bounce as he is a catch and shoot guy but he has the ability to create for himself occasionally. Very fundamental. Great basketball IQ allows him to be a good help side defender off the ball. Has proven now that he has the ability to put up solid numbers against top competition and should enjoy a successful career at the next level. At this point, Kyle has accepted a preferred walk-on spot with Division 1 University of Akron Zips. The situation here is that they would have offered but did not have any more available for this season. Hopefully, Kyle can prove to them, after a full season, that he is worthy of having his last 3 years of school paid for in full. Good luck with everything to him and his family.
