Notes: Darius is already viewed as one of the top 2011 prospects in the state of Florida. He is a long and bouncy combo guard who is better as a scorer as of now but is looking to improve his decision making to increase his effectiveness as a lead guard. Perkins has a good stroke from outside the arc or mid-range to go along with his ability to slash to the basket and finish in traffic. His defense is solid with his length and quickness being his strengths but he will only improve with added weight. He transferred into Dunbar High just before the beginning of the 2008-09 school year and joins a talented group that reached the class 3A state final four last year. He already has one state title under his belt, being part of the Monsignor Pace HS team that won the class 4A championship in the 2007-08 season.
