Notes:  "Elbow at Rim" type leaper who combines that with a 7'0 wingspan to snatch rebounds over bigger players and finish inside consistently.  Good stroke with range past the arc but is at his best when running the wing and  attacking the basket.  This season Mark has been forced to see numerous minutes at the point guard spot, proving his improvement on his ballhandling, and ability to create with the ball.  In a match up earlier this season against Desoto, he was guarded by the best on ball defender in the area, Shavon Shine, and dropped 27 points in a loss.  Shine is headed to Florida Atlantic Univ. on a basketball scholarship next fall.  Playing with Florida Elite this past summer allowed Mark to compete on a high level and his athleticism was just as astounding when compared to other top athletes, however, he was relegated to a rebounding and non-scoring role for the most part so it seemed as though he was a small post. We think that Mark is definately a Mid D1 caliber wing prospect, and Savannah State has gotten a steal for years to come.
