"A new event has hit the busy fall basketball schedule. Players from as far as Naples and Orlando converged on Lynn University for Event Organizer Matt Ramker’s Adidas Superstar Showcase.  National scouts and local coaches were in attendance to watch several players from the sunshine state.

If you were in attendance, you could not have missed seeing two good sized, exciting court generals in Bishop Verot’s 6’2 point guard Jacquard Hagan and Evin Graham, a 6’3 junior point guard from Fort Myers. Hagan is as quick as they come, explodes through the lane and finishes well. He runs a great fastbreak and his teammates really benefit as he likes setting them up for a great finish of their own. Graham is a true point guard in every sense. There is not a smarter player out there. He has incredible vision on the floor, passes well and has good strength to defend. Evin has no reservations about rebounding the ball and turning it into a break of his own instead of waiting for the outlet pass. Graham will have many Division I suitors stopping by Fort Myers for the next 2 season.

Lastly, I want to mention a few guys who are playing at their best basketball. Finally, one of the most electric players of the day was senior Brunes Charles (6’2 – Seacrest Country Day). Charles is a scoring wing, who can knock down shots and put on a show around the rim. He is much stronger than he was even this summer and has an explosive step along the baseline. There is absolutely no sign of fear to go up over anyone to get his highlight."
